The climate change is a concern for the vast majority of people. However, there is still no consensus on how to deal with climate change, partly because different climate and environmental policies place different burdens on social groups. Miriam Schad and Philipp Kadelke ask from an inequality perspective whether people experiencing poverty are characterized by certain climate and environmental attitudes.
Are people experiencing poverty more concerned about climate change? Do people living in poverty have a greater individual capacity to take action? Do they want structural reforms more?
