Wrap-up forum of the project "Wealth as a social relationship"

While poverty and precarious living conditions have been extensively researched sociologically, the creation and transmission of wealth has been much less studied. The first part of the final event of the Volkswagen Foundation-funded joint project between TU Dortmund University and the Sociological Research Institute Göttingen (SOFI) will present key project results on February 5 from 13:00. It will become clear to what extent 'being wealthy' is not just an individual characteristic, but in particular also a complex network of family relationships, expectations and possibly also conflicts.
In the second part, there will be a panel discussion on the social responsibility of the wealthy, in which the audience will also be involved.
